I am an award-winning singer, actress, chef, author, and host of The Colorful Home Cooking Show. I’ve been thriving as a vegan since 2011 and in my time I’ve fallen in love with all things vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, gluten-free, and all-natural! These days, I am the proud host of my musical cooking show, The Colorful Home Cooking Show, and author of “Colorful Home Cooking with Gabrielle Reyes” where I share hundreds of vegan and gluten-free recipes through soulful songs.

Why vegan?

Before I went vegan I was weighed down by the pressure to count calories, restrict myself from food for multiple days, and constantly judge and belittle myself for not being as skinny or petite as my peers. Eventually, this led to a self-hating mindset and a two-year-long eating disorder. Veganism and living a plant-based lifestyle SAVED me from my own personal darkness and now I’m the healthiest and the happiest I could ever shine!

The blessings truly overflow and the future is glowing bright! I specializing in allergen-free food and multicolored meals. My mission is to feed others sustainably sourced, nourishing, and mouth-watering eats that help you get your glow on.

When my best friend Ace and I launched this brand, we had no idea where it would take us. I just knew it was necessary for me to sing my song, do my dance, and speak my truth! With that, I have been blessed to have been featured in the Oprah Tour, Food Network, The New York Times, Buzzfeed Tasty, Popsugar, Thrillist, CBS, Delish, Tastemade, PETA, Broadway World, LIVEKINDLY, VegNews Magazine, VEGWORLD Magazine, Yahoo News, and The Feedfeed.

Mixing passions for cooking & singing


As a performer, sick days aren’t really an option. I want to have camera-ready skin at a moment’s notice. So, when it comes to a healthy diet and food habits, I aim to keep my insides squeaky clean. That starts by limiting the number of ingredients I consume. That means keeping my intake of processed food to a minimum. I was bound to be in tip-top condition on the daily while also having my outsides reflect my insides! Through the years of living and eating tasty vegan food, I’ve seen the healing power of plants and One Great Vegan is here so that others seeking health + wellness can have a source for recipes, guidance, coaching, classes, and joyous jingles.

Today I host, tour, create recipes, and teach billions with my musical meals as I share my favorite plant-based, gluten-free, and flavorful recipes + tips to create vibrant dishes through music and songs. I also absolutely love hosting my live-streaming lyrical cooking classes every Saturday so everyone across the globe can learn how to create epic, vegan meals from the comfort of their own home.

So my loves, after about 10 years of being a tried and true vegan, I’ve gathered the best tips and recipes to make the most out of what Mother Nature has to offer. For some, eating a plant-based diet can be a challenge when transitioning for the first week or so. The good news is you’ve already made the choice to give veganism a try so the hardest part is over, and I’ll be here with you as you embark on the colorful path to health.
